About Us

Originally built in 1885 to serve the needs of the then Methodist church community, the praise of the Lord Jesus Christ and the proclamation of His message of eternal hope has continued unchanged in this building for over 130 years.

Although the music & style may look different now to then, at Millthorpe Village Church we continue to learn together from the words God has spoken throughout history, seek to reach those without hope, and encourage each other to a life of love and service within our lost and broken world.

And we would love for you to join us as we journey together until the Lord Jesus returns or takes us home!

Our building is found at 3-5 Church Street, opposite & up from the main gates into Redmond Oval and the Millthorpe Museum.

What to expect

While the style of our meetings can vary greatly, there is absolute consistency in a few very important areas. This is what you can expect if you join with us on any given Sunday.

  1. We will glorify God through our music & song
  2. We will hear Him speak by reading the bible together
  3. We will be challenged & built up by a short message
  4. We will speak to God in prayer, knowing that He hears
  5. We will gather in friendship to support one another

But words on a page can only tell you so much!
So we suggest that if you are local looking for answers or community (or even if you're just visiting our beautiful town) then please come along. We'd love to meet you and have the chance to answer any further questions you might have.
